LIS LEWIS

Lis Lewis is the director of The Singers' Workshop, author of the book The Singer's First Aid Kit and publisher of The Angel City Voice, a newspaper of interest to singers. She has been a voice teacher and performance coach for over 25 years. In addition to working with singers, she works with managers, record labels, producers and songwriters to get the best performances from their artists.

As a vocal coach, vocal producer and a singer/songwriter, Lis has worked with many remarkable people … Steve Miller, Herbie Hancock, Bobby McFerrin, Gwen Stefani (No Doubt), the producers of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, The Mamas & The Papas, The Pointer Sisters and writers for Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Bonnie Raitt, Pat Benatar, The Bangles, The Oak Ridge Boys, and The Miracles.

When it comes to clothes, Lis prefers a hip, comfortable look that is always "together". She blends classic separates with well thought out colors and interesting one-of-a-kind jewelry. She puts it all together in a fabulous way that shows both her personal and professional style.
